News: Controversy As Buhari Replaces Minister


At the wake of the just concluded Ministerial Retreat, held at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, President Muhammadu Buhari, has concluded plans to replace the late Minister of State for Labour and Employment, James Ocholi, Post-Nigeria gathered. Presidential sources confirmed to Post-Nigeria, that President Buhari has finally settled for a renowned politician from Kogi-West Senatorial District. He is said to be a highly skilled and erudite professional, with many years of experience, both in the public and private sector. This came barely few weeks when the Elders from the Kogi State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, noted the importance of filling the vacant position, created as a result of the demise of the late Minister. Recall, that Ocholi, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN, who represented Kogi State in the Federal Executive Council, FEC, died on the Kaduna-Abuja expressway, alongside his wife, and second son, on March 6, 2016, in what was believed to be an accident caused by a burst tyre.
